Summary: Matt is a young boy who was born in Vietnam to an American father and a Vietnamese mother. Matt was airlifted out of Vietnam by American soldiers. Once in America he was adopted by a family, and now Matt struggles with his place in new family and life in America. Along the way he discovers that he is a good baseball player, and decides to try out for his school team. He is continually having flash backs of his life in Vietnam, but like many soldiers he struggles to talk about his memories.
