Summary: A young boy relates to Abraham Lincoln in many ways. He and Lincoln had the same birthday, both tall, both skinny as a beanpole, and both had big hands and feet. Mrs. Giff provides the young boy many facts about Lincoln throughout the story. The young boy begins to compare and contrast his life to Lincoln's. His brother, Sam, tells the young boy he cannot be another Abraham Lincoln. Finally the boy realizes that he can never be Abraham Lincoln, and no one can be another him.
